Sayyeda-e-Kainat Hazrat-e-Fatimah tuz Zahra Salamullahi Alaiha Bayan Karti hain ke Mai Huzoor Nabi-e-Akram SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ke Marz-e-Wisaal me Hasan aur Hussain (Alaihi-Mussalam) ko Lekar Aap SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ki Khidmat me Haazir Hui, aur arz kiya: "Ya RasoolAllah SallAllahu Alaika wa Sallam! Ye Dono Aapke Bete hain, Inhe kisi cheez ka Waaris bana den."
Aap SallAllahu Alaihi wa Aalihi wa Sallam ne farmaya:
"Hasan ke liye Meri Haibat (Roab) aur Sardari hai aur Hussain ke liye Meri Jurrat aur Sakhawat hai.” 15 Ramzan Youm-e-Wiladat Sayyeduna Imam Hasan Alaihissalam.

Haythami ne Majma-uz-zawaid (9:185) me kaha ke isey Tabarani ne riwayat kiya hai, jabke mai iske raawiyon ko nahi jaanta.

Allahumma Salle Ala Sayyedina wa Maulana Muhammad wa Ala Sayyedina Aliyyuw wa Sayyedatina Fatimah wa Sayyedatina Zainab wa Sayyedina Hasan wa Sayyedina Hussain wa Ala Aalihi wa Sahbihi wa Baarik wa Sallim.

Aap Ki Kunniyat Abu Muhammad Aur Alkab Taqi Wa Sayyad Hai.

Aap 12 Ayimma Me Se Dusre Imam Hai.

Hazrat Jibraeel Alayhissalam Aap Ke Naam Ko Jannat Se Ek Nihayat Umda Kapde Par Likh Kar Huzur (ﷺ) Ki Khidmat Me Hadiyattan Laaye.

Aap Shakal Wa Soorat Me Huzur (ﷺ) Se Sar Se Paav Tak Se Mushabah The.

Kanzul Ummal Wa Ibne Asakir Me Rivayat Hai Ke
Huzur (ﷺ) Ne Syadana Imam Hasan Aur Syadana Imam Hussain Ke Baare Me Yu Dua Farmayi,
“Aye Allah" Mai Inse Muhabbat Rakhta Hu Tu Bhi Inse Muhabbat Farma Aur Jo Inse Muhabbat Rakkhe Us se Bhi Tu Muhabbat Farma.

Jab Imam Hasan Al Mujtaba (رضي الله ﺗﻌﺎﻟﯽ). Ka Wisal Hua To Jab Aap Ki Jannatul Baki’a Me Madfan Ke Liye Le Gaye To Logo Ki Itni Tadad Wahan Thi Ki Sa’alba Bin Malik Kehte Hai ki Pura Jannatul Baki’a Qabristan Logo Se Bhar Gaya Tha Yahan Tak Agar Aasaman Me Se Ek Sui Fenki Jaaye To Zamin Par Naa Gire Balki Kisi Ke Sar Par Gire, Itna Bada Qabristan Bhi Is Tarah Bhar Gaya Tha.

The article is originally a talk presented at the international conference 1001 Inventions: Discover the Muslim Heritage in our World held at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester on the 8th of March 2006, on the occasion of the launch of the exhibition 1001 inventions. It is interesting for me as an Egyptologist to notice how the Islamic environment created an atmosphere in which the intended scholar could freely seek knowledge wherever it came from, and in whatever ancient language/culture it may originate, thus giving the incentive to various scholars to dedicate their lives completely to the discovery and the reading of ancient scripts, such as Egyptian and Mesopotamian.
