Signs of Qayamat:Sun rising from the west

Ten Major Signs of the Last Day – Has One Just Occurred

LAST DAY MEANS LAST AGE The term ‘Last Day’ in reality stands for the ‘Last Age’, or the age which would culminate in the end of history—when the true Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary (not son of God), would return to rule the world from Jerusalem with justice and ‘eternal’ rule. It would be ‘eternal’ in the sense that history would end with that event. Life on earth beyond that event, and after Jesus dies a human death and is buried next to Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah Most High be upon them both) in Madinah, would not qualify as history. This would be so since the modern secular rope would have reached its predictable end in total godlessness, and with such a consequent collapse of morals, and of moral consciousness, that people would forget their human status and “would engage in sexual intercourse in public like donkeys”. Already it is quite clear (particularly at the time of Trinidad’s Carnival) that we are quite close to the fulfillment of that ominous prop...

The Story of a Man to whom Allah gave Ilm, but he threw them away -Story from Quran (7:175-7:176)

This is a stern Reminder from Quran for all of us . This Ayah brings me to shiver every time I read it . May Allah save us from becoming negligent  and save us from greed , selfishness and  avarice . May Allah protect us from the traps of Shaitan and keep guiding us . Allah says in Quran:(7:175-7:176) (7:175) And recite to them [O Muhammad] the story of the man to whom We gave Our signs and who turned away from them; then ultimately Satan caught up with him and he was led astray. (7:176) Now had We so willed We could indeed have exalted him through those signs, but he clung to earthly life and followed his carnal desires. Thus his parable is that of the dog who lolls out his tongue whether you attack him or leave him alone. Such is the parable of those who reject Our signs as false. Narrate to them these parables that they may reflect. The words of the text seem to indicate that the person mentioned must indeed be a specific rather than an imaginary figure mentioned for the sake of par...

TAUHEED OR SHIRK?

THE UNITY OF ALLAH    The Being of the Almighty Allah Y is indeed One. It is only those who are ignorant and persist in being ignorant need an explanation on how Almighty Allah Y is One and is actually Present. Those who are Allah-conscious do not desire an explanation on this subject of Tauheed and Shirk. They in fact accept without questioning. There is a famous proverb in the Arabic language, which is as follows: "Objects are indeed understood by its opposites." For example, peace can only be understood and appreciated by that person who has felt and experienced anxiety. That person though who has not felt anxiety, cannot appreciate peace. In the same manner, Day cannot be understood if a person has not experienced the Night. Likewise, if a person has not comprehended misguidance how is it possible for him to understand guidance? Using this very principle, we may ask, if a person has not understood "Shirk" or Polytheism, how is it possible for him to appreciate o...

When Time Moves Faster

[gallery ids="26793,26788" type="square" columns="2"] A mong the Signs of the Last Day as disclosed by Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is that “time would move faster – so that a whole year would pass like a month, a month would pass like a week, a week like a day, a day like an hour, and an hour like the amount of time it takes to kindle a fire.” Why so? He explained that the perception of time moving faster would be in consequence of the ‘remembrance’ of Allah Most High (Dhikr) departing from the heart, and a preoccupation with the worldly life (Dunyah) taking exclusive possession of the heart. The consequence of this spiritual vacuum would be that “people would make business agreements with one another and scarcely anyone would fulfill his trust”, and “it would be said that among such and such a tribe there is a trustworthy man. People would remark of how intelligent, excellent and resolute a man he is while (in fact) he woul...

Motivation from life of Ka’b bin Malik (radiyallhu anhu)

It is the story of “Ka’b bin Malik ” RA . He was a Sahaba . He missed the military expedition headed for Tabuk because of his  procrastination .  The Story of Ka’ab RA teaches us about the effects procrastination can have on us.  It can, in fact, rob us of so many opportunities to do good. Because Ka’ab  (radiyallhu anhu) delayed making preparations, he missed out on the rewards of fighting for the sake of Allah. Once the army had gone and he had no way to catch up with them, Ka’b RA realized that the only people who were left behind were either the elderly or the disabled people and the ones who were known to be hypocrites. He seriously reflected on this and was very regretful of his actions. After the Prophet ﷺ came back, Ka’b RA did not lie nor did he give any flimsy excuse and he spoke the truth and was sincerely repentant. So the Prophet ﷺ told him to wait for Allah’s decree and he ordered that he and along with two others were to be boycotted by the people of Madinah. A Great Les...

THE GREAT BEYOND (Ilm e Gaib)

[gallery ids="27466,27454" type="square" columns="2"]   "These are the tidings of Unseen that We reveal to you in secret. And you were not with them when they drew lots with their pen that under those guardianship Maryam should be given and you were not with then when they were disputing."   (Surah Ale Imraan, 3:44) In this verse the Holy Quran gives the reason of mentioning the episodes of the past Prophets u. Allah Y says:  " O Beloved One! These episodes are not mentioned as mere tales of the past. We have mentioned these events to prove your Prophethood. The Knowledge of Unseen will become the testimony of your special status as the Apostle of Allah. O Prophet! This is among those events of which the accurate records are now obliterated altogether, and there is no means of knowing in full and exact details except by Revelation". The word  "these"  refers to the episodes of Hadrat Maryam t  and her mother, Hadrat Hannah t ....
